In April 2008, Operation Hoodie Chairman James Clegg shook hands with Yorkshire County Cricket Club’s Chief Executive Stewart Regan, marking the beginning of the charitable partnership between the two parties.
The deal showcases the excellent relationship between the two parties, which was forged in 2007, when the Yorkshire club invited Operation Hoodie to meet the first team squad. The contract is for a 12 month period, and saw the team selling hoodies at the following games
| June | 13 | Nottinghamshire | 20/20 game at Headingley Carnegie |
| June | 22 | Durham | 20/20 game at Headingley Carnegie |
| August | 31 | Glamorgan | Pro 40 at Scarborough CC |
| August | 9 | Warwickshire | Pro 40 at Headingley Carnegie |
Operation Hoodie would like to thank YCCC for the support they have given to the charity, which is a further example of their excellent reputation in the community. YCCC are the world’s greatest cricket club, containing some of the game’s biggest personalities, namely Strictly Come Dancing star Darren Gough, and of course England captain Michael Vaughan
